Loved the book. Couldn't wait at night to pick it back up

One of those books you don’t want to put done and you read late into the night. Great mystery.
The trial of a young heroin addict charged with murdering her infant son ends quickly with a guilty verdict. What happens following is compelling and includes scientific research, grave robbing and an appeal. I read this in one sitting and will look for more. Enjoyed everything, the setting, the characters and the plot.
Not your usual crime story but one that will keep you on the edge of your seat till the end. Neither is it easy for the protagonists, but there's no way that Brogan McLane could ever let it go, he's not that kind of man, although, has he made the wrong conclusion this time ? An engrossing, intelligent story not for the faint of heart and which by the end had brought tears to my eyes.
